The United States is aging, and according to www.ruralhealthinfo.org there are more than 46 million adults age 65 and older living in the U.S. That number is expected to grow to almost 90 million by 2050, and between 2020 and 2030 the number of 65+ adults is projected to increase by almost 18 million.
Nebraska is not immune to these statistics, and has increased its 65+ adults by 31.6% from 2010-2020 and is projected to increase by 28.9% from 2020-2030 according to the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Because there is a growing need, we at Graceful In Home Healthcare recognize that often times people need some assistance, but do not require “assisted living”. The goal of senior care through our program is to maintain independence at home while promoting safety and an opportunity for a full life at an older age.
